The identity of this bird [nism240657] is in question. I submitted it as a semipalmated sandpiper but it has been suggested that it is an Alaskan sandpiper. There are 6 photographs [ https://www.oiseaux.net/photos/nick.smith/pictures.S.html ] of the same bird it was as far as I remember the only one...
